This kitchen was manufactured in Bunclody using native Elm. Despite its increasing scarcity, it is as popular as ever with discerning kitchen makers. Elm has medium movement in service, exceptional ability to resist splitting and will polish or wax to a lustrous finish. Overall elm is darker in colour than other native hardwoods and possesses an attractive grain pattern.
